Columbus is survived by: wife Mrs Thelma Richardson; children, Phyllis Watson (Rudy), Gwen Perry (Warren), Donald Richardson of Wendell, Stanley Richardson (Helen) of Knightdale and Keith Richardson (Sveta) of Charlotte; and sisters, Jersey B. Holden of Wendell, Elvautia Mial of Raleigh and Elventa Thomas of Oxon HIll, MD. Columbus is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
