He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Milton and Etta Creech Evans; his wife Nancy Elaine Evans; and his siblings, Lucile Lewis, Alvin and Gene Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Collier of Princeton and Gary Evans (Dawn) of Micro; his grandchildren, Justin Collier, Miranda Evans and Allyson Evans; and his close friend Sandra Pearce.
