She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie George and Fannie Byrd Carter; and her brother Lonnie "Buddy" George Carter, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Taylor and Candice Carr (Kirston); and her sister Wanda "Carolyn" Tart (Ronnie) of Dunn. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and several cousins and nephews.
