It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Sidney Hughes (Merry Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sidney "Dag" Hughes and Alice Grey Dawson Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Annie Ruth Smith Hughes; his children, Jennifer Evans (Henry) of Merry Hill and Jonathan Sawyer of Nebraska; his sister Faye Capehart of Newport News, VA; his granddaughters, Hanna, Jada, Leah and Haley; and his great grandchild Levi.
Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed for both the service and the time of visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to any chapter of either the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
