He is survived by: his close friend Carlyn Brown of Hertford; his children, Henri Lynn Ellis, Lawrence Brown, Jonathan Brown and Tracie Gardner; his granddaughter Ellen Christian; his great grandchild Olivia Christian; and his siblings, Dorothy Baker of Merry Hill, Iris Pierce of Merry Hill, Linda Connolly of Buena Vista, VA, Will Cobb of Tyner and Robert Cobb of Colerain. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
