We bid farewell to Janie Leggett Lee (Merry Hill, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Janie Leggett touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Poe and Rosa Edmondson Leggett; and her brother Gene Leggett of Williamston. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Franklin "Frankie" Lee; her daughters, Vicky Lee Hoggard (Michael) of Merry Hill, Ellen Lee Bunch (Ben) of Merry Hill and Janet Lee Copeland (Tom) of Merry Hill; her grandchildren, Michelle, Stephanie, Lee, Hank, Wil, Catie and Phillip; her great grandchildren, Sarah, Mckinley, Reed, Rosie, Eli, Taylor and Hunter; and her sister-in-law Annette Stokes of Merry Hill.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside Baptist Church (1206 NC-45, Merry Hill, NC 27957).
