He is survived by: his wife Linda Bigelow Evans; his daughter Kashena Evans Paschal (Chad) of Burlington, NC; his siblings, Brenda Jones of Yanceyville, NC, Linda Hightower of Yanceyville, NC, Sharon Hightower of Burlington, NC, Charles Hightower (Joyce) of Yanceyville, NC and Ronald Hightower of Mebane, NC; his uncle Shirley Miles; his siblings, Pattie Moore, Mary Miles, Clyde Miles, David Miles and Clay Miles (Gladys); and his grandchildren, Marquise Evans of Dallas, TX, Aliyah Evans of Mebane, NC and Jamiah Paschal of Burlington, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
