It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Bernard Averette of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyree F. Averette Sr. and Bettie Averette; and his brother Jerry T. Averette. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Averette; his children, Donald W. Averette (Tonya) of Mebane, NC, Randy B. Averette (Cynthia) of Mebane, NC and Kimberly J. Lopez (Javier) of Mebane, NC; his brother Tyree F. Averette Jr. (Betty Ann) of Hillsborough, NC; and his grandchildren, Christian D. Averette, Devyn J. Averette, Corbin D. Averette, Andrew A. Lopez and Matthew A. Lopez.
