It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Rose McVey of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Destiny Lynn Abercrombie. She is survived by: her parents, David McVey and Rosa Comer McVey; her sons, Benjerman Abercrombie (Nichole), Brandon Abercrombie (Kimberly) and Nathaniel "Nate" Abercrombie (Misty); her sisters, Deborah Newman and Daphne Younger; her friend Terry Abercrombie; her nephews, Tyler Newman and Kenan Newman; her close friend Gary Zacharey; and her pets, Chopper and Holly.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully appreciates memorials being made to help with the final care for Veronica.
