He is survived by: his wife Lucille; his children, Jackie Byrd Elmore (Darrell Cook), Vernon "Bo" Byrd, Jr. and Ronnie Byrd (Vicki); his granddaughters, Jordan Elmore and Britney Owen; his brother Bobby Byrd; and his pet Missy.
