He is survived by: his children, Kathy Coombs (Gerald), Carl Thomas Kirkpatrick (Pam Boggs) of Mebane and Mike Kirkpatrick (Dawn) of Mebane. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
