She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Tate and Mildred Chavis Tate; and her siblings, John William Tate, Kenneth Tate, Marie Cheeks, Louise Herbin and Margie Snell.
She is survived by: her son Connell Tate (Patricia); her siblings, Lee Tate, Bessie Boswell and Peggy Murdock (Faye Tate); her grandson Spencer Smith; and her sister-in-law Brenda Tate. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
