He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen A. White V and Mary Landis White; his siblings, Ellen White Turner and Stephen Alexander "Zan" White VI; and his stepmother Margaret Holmes White.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Gibson White; his children, Grace Ellen White, Samuel Glasgow White (Jessica), David Stanton White (Lydia), Rebecca Gibson White (Skip) and Julia White Buckner (Joe); and his grandchildren, Peter, Charlie, Nell, Jeff, Emily, Collin, Zane, Katherine, Leo, Eva, Natalie and Elijah.
