He is survived by: his parent-in-law Parthine Richmond; his wife Parthine Gunter; his daughters, Selena Gunter, Verna Foushee of Burlington, NC, Lesley Clayborn (Richard) of Burlington, NC and Priscilla Millner of Burlington, NC; his great grandchildren, Saniyah and Aiyanna Simpson; his sister Cora Pointer of Alton, VA; his nephew Samuel Pointer (Cynthia) of Alton, VA; his niece Patricia Jones of Danville, VA; and his sister-in-law Elaine Murray of Mebane, NC. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
