He is survived by: his children, Christy Sykes (Johnny) of Newton and David Perry (Janet) of Graham; his daughter-in-law Dale Perry of Burlington; his grandchildren, Melissa Haith (Thad), David Perry, II (Jessica), Crystal Bunn (Timothy), Jonathan Stollard, Brandon Perry, Tesla Sykes, Nicholas Perry and JJ Rippy; and his siblings, Judy Farrar of Graham and Tommy Freeland of South Carolina. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
