With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert William Jones of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Jones and Abner Jones of Mebane; his former wife Margaret Allison Jones; and his siblings, Raymond Jones, Marie Jones and George Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Polly Jones; his sister Betty Flynn; his children, Robert Jones, Jr., Lisa Schlomann and Dawn Butler (Mark Butler); and his grandson Jackson Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Cripple and Burned Children's Hospital.
