He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wilson Summers and Stella Robena Hall Summers; his wife Peggy Summers; and his siblings, Michael Summers, Geraldine Summers and Vickie S. Gordon.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Summers (Andrea) of Haw River and Joannie Summers Wilson (Jay) of Mebane; his grandchildren, Jean Howell (Matt), Jesse Summers (Sarah), Richard Mullis and Emily Vermeer (Jon); his great grandchildren, Ellie Vermeer and Ollie Vermeer; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Sam Howell and Nyla Summers; his nephews, Adam Summers and Jimmy Turner (Brenda); and his caregivers, Nicole Howard, Tanisha Graves, Diana Pickard, Rose Golding and Brenda Turner.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Hebron Community Church (2325 Mebane Oaks Rd, Mebane, NC 27302). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
