He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Rebecca Shropshire Allen; and his siblings, Joe Allen, Jr., Sissy Allen Hunter and Kenneth Lee Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda "Mindy" Ray Allen; his daughter Gena Rebecca Allen (Cedric Lea); his grandsons, Cameron Allen Wheeler and Alexander Lea; and his siblings, Timothy Wayne Allen, Carla (Benton Neese), Jonna (Craig Robertson) and J. Brad Ray.
