He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Lasley Woody. He is survived by: his mother Mary Durham Woody of Graham; his wife Donna Mills Woody; his sons, Travis Woody (Rachel Chalk) of Tampa and Nathan Woody (Janelle) of Haw River; his grandchildren, Cody Woody (Jordan), Austin Woody, Caiden Woody, Maiya Woody and Adailyn Woody; his great grandchild Parker Woody; and his sister Jane Woody Honeycutt (Alan) of Apex. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
