Rachel Kimball Ray Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Kimball Ray of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lawrence Kimball and Lucy Thompson Kimball; her husband Ralph C. Ray; her daughter Linda Ray Dove; her grandson Eric Ray Sibley; and her siblings, Ruth Moon, Edith Lineberry, Sarah Kimball, Georgia Baker, Kyle Kimball, Cortez Kimball and Herbert Kimball.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ray Kueider (Mike), Terry Ray Hoggard (Ricky), Jeanette Ray (John) and Ralph Edward Ray; and her son-in-law Robert Dove. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mebane Presbyterian Church (402 S Fifth St, Mebane, NC 27302). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mebane Presbyterian Church at 402 South Fifth St. Mebane, NC 27302 or the AuthoraCare Hospice at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
