She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ketron and Elaine Ketron; her husband Rodney Earl Newcomer, Sr.; and her brother Harry Ketron. She is survived by: her pet Milo; her sons, Rodney Jr. (Laura), Kenneth (Allison), Kevin and Richard; and her sisters, Bay Jones (Philip) and Virginia Jones (Marvin). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 4 sons, 2 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Center at Alamance Regional Medical Center at 1236 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington NC 27215.
