We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 92, Nellie Garner Petty of Mebane, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen "Buck" Petty; her parents, Jesse James Garner and Sarah Alice Shields Garner; and her siblings, Larry Garner, Lawrence Garner, Leon Garner, Bernard Garner, John Garner, Elbert Garner, Bill Garner and Reva Timmerman.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Petty Martin (Stephen) of Jamestown; and her granddaughter Sabrina Katlin Martin of Phoenix, AZ..

Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane or a charity of one's choice.
