It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Hughes Clayton of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Hughes and Alice Newman; and her siblings, Pamela Bryant and Timothy Hughes. She is survived by: her husband John Royce Clayton; her children, Maranda White and Brannigon White (Gunela); her granddaughter Isla White; and her siblings, Terri Cardona, Jerry, Michael and Russell Hughes. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
