She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Cox and Mary Lee Cox; and her spouse Gene T. Farthing. She is survived by: her children, Billy Phillips (Tracy) of Mebane, Adam Phillips (Jennifer) of Mebane and Cristie Cross (Darin) of Mebane; and her siblings, Judy Ritter of Siler City, Doris Knittle of Snow Camp and Bill Cox of Camden, AK. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
