She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dewey Covington and Marian Fenton Covington; and her siblings, Alma Covington Mayberry, Charles Dewey Covington, Jr., William F. "Bill" Covington, Neel Covington and Jim Covington.
She is survived by: her brother Bennie M. Covington, Sr. (Patsy) of Mebane. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and great nephews; and 25 great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hawfields Presbyterian Church.
