It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Allison of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mayo Sr. and Eleanor Whitted Mayo (Robert Lee Allison Sr.); and her siblings, John Mayo, Willie Mayo Jr., Leonard Mayo, Clarence Mayo, Eva Clark, Eleanor Johns and Ethel Yarborough.

She is survived by: her husband Robert; her son Robert Lee Allison Jr. (Lynette) of Durham, NC; her granddaughters, Monika Allison of Durham, NC and Nicole Jackson of Durham, NC; her great grandchildren, Maya Foushee and Maurice Jackson; her siblings, Jackson Mayo (Faye) of Hillsborough, NC and Virginia Hunter of Raleigh, NC.; her niece Carolyn Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Corine Mayo, Hazel Mayo and Henry Johns.

Masks and social distancing will be observed for all services.
