She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Allen Joyce and Anna Mae Yeatts Joyce; and her siblings, Doris Wheeler, Jessie McKinney, Gene Joyce, Robert Joyce, Judy Neese and Michael Joyce.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Thomasson; her son Rodney Allen Thomasson (Michelle) of Orlando; her grandchildren, Mallory Whitlow of Orlando, Megan Thomasson, Michael Thomasson of Alabama and Riley Thomasson of Orlando; and her siblings, Nancy Ribelin of Yanceyville, George Joyce of Elon and James Joyce of Burlington. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Service (1308 S 3rd St, Mebane, NC 27302). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McClure Funeral Chapel (1308 S 3rd St, Mebane, NC 27302).
