He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Anderson and Mary Belle Webster Everett; and his siblings, Charlotte Robertson, Doris Everett, Nancy E. Malone, Arnold Everett, James Houston Everett, Bernard Everett and Jerry "Donald" Everett Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Barker Everett; his daughters, Judy Hall (Allan) of Mebane and Teresa E. Hodder of Mebane; his grandchildren, John Hall, Jennifer Allred (Dwayne), Stephen Hodder, Nelson Fagan and Katherine Knicely (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Mason R. Allred, Abby Hall and Riley Allred; and his sisters, Shirley "Jean" Jones of Haw River, Rachel E. Monk (Larry) of Mebane and Lois Everett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215 or to the charity of one's choice.
