We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 95, Kathryn Eileen Jefferson of Mebane, North Carolina, born in Triadelphia, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father George Kummers; and her sister GeorgeAnn Stanfield. She is survived by: her husband George K. Jefferson; her sisters, Gerry Cook, Connie LeGrande and Emily Wilcox; her children, Denise Unterbrink (Thomas) and Denis Jefferson (Mary Ellen); and her grandchildren, Bruce Jefferson (Anne), Devin Jefferson (Melanie), Stephanie Nordyke (Todd), Melissa Jefferson, Michelle Dobson (Trevor), Lindsey Herr (Matt), Samuel Jefferson, Benjamin Jefferson and Kathryn Jefferson.
