She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Young and Ena Mae Young; and her siblings, Ricky Young, Frankie Young and Jody Young.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Mayton (Gail) of Mebane and Tammy Robinson (Kevin) of Graham; her grandchildren, Bridget, Heather, Kimberly, Makenzie and Tori; and her sister Shelia Sykes of Mebane. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
