She is survived by: her children, James Fornes III (Melinda) of Mebane, NC, Jeffrey Fornes (Adrienne) of Greenville, NC and Priscilla Wayman of New Bern, NC; her sister Esther Hardison of New Bern, NC; her grandchildren, Lyndsay, Allison, Ryan Fornes, Emma and Joseph Wayman; and her great grandchild Ace.
