He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lee and Sallie "Eula" Thompson; and his siblings, Talmadge Thompson and Geraldine Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thompson; his children, Janet Thompson, Tammy Swierk (Jeremy), Donna Herry, Steve Thompson (Kelly), Chuck Baker, Caleb Baker and Michael West; his sister Faye Mise; his grandchildren, Kandice Barlotti (Maurzio), Korey Thompson (Rebecca), Beth Thompson, Jonathon Marchant (Laura) and Jarrett Marchant; and his nephews, Jay Mise and Robbie Mise. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
