With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Viola Feld Jarman of Mebane, North Carolina, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence H. Feld and Gertrude Studer Feld. She is survived by: her children, Robert F. Jarman, Jeanna M. Simmons (Joe) and Jennifer L. Spear (Don); and her grandchildren, Joe Simmons III, Hugh Simmons, Simone Taylor, Jonathan Spear and James Spear. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blessed Sacrament School at 515 Hillcrest Ave., Burlington, NC 27215.
