Jo Ann Sykes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Sykes (Mebane, North Carolina), who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Sykes and Nadine Sykes; and her brothers, Jerry and Johnny Sykes. She is survived by: her siblings, Jill Shoneman (John), Janice Clayton (Lloyd) and Jeff Sykes (Cindy); her niece Rachel McConnell (Tim); her nephews, Jamie Sykes (Christi), Jonah Sykes and Caleb Sykes (Jayden); her great-niece Laci Sykes; and her great-nephews, Cody Sykes and Calvin McConnell. She is also survived by family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the ASPCA or another animal charity, in her memory.
