He is survived by: the mother of his child Carolyn Lunsford of Mebane; his siblings, Ronnie Lunsford (Helen) of Prospect Hill, Carl Lunsford of Prospect Hill, Garry Lunsford (Debra) of Prospect Hill, Corina Moize (Lawrence) of Hurdle Mills and Katie Stephens (Rickey) of Alabama; and his sister-in-law Peggy Lunsford of Prospect Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lea Bethel Baptist Church (1820 Ridgeville Rd, Prospect Hill, NC 27314).
