He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Dane Coble, Sr. and Annie Sharpe Coble; his siblings, Sally Coble Lynch and Jesse Alfred Coble; and his grandson Jason Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, James H. Coble (Debra) of Chester, NJ and Donna Coble Murphy of Haw River; his grandchildren, Janice Paschal (Cameron), Justin Coble (Laura) and Lynzee Rohe (Dan); his great grandchildren, Wyatt Murphy, Jackson Coble, Savannah Coble and Dameron Rohe; his brother Jasper Dane Coble, Jr.; and his close friend Ida Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
