She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Darnell and Louise Jenkins Darnell; and her brother Bobby Darnell. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Farris (David) of Graham and Trey Wallace of High Point; her grandchild A. J. Farris; and her siblings, Tom Darnell (Kay) and Linda Darnell.
