Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janice Townsend of Mebane, North Carolina, born in Maxton, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 68, on December 5, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Townsend and Thelma Townsend; and her brothers, Bernard Parrish and Jerry Braddy. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Porter (Joia) of Durham, NC, Terrance Walker (Jennifer) of Durham, NC and Gerald Braddy of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Jade, Ambria, Nasir, Jalen, Laylani, Journi and Joseph; and her sister Donna Smith (Aaron) of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
