He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Riddle (WF), Edward Jones (Badeye), Hugh Jones, Albert Riddle, Cliff Riddle and Elizabeth Riddle; his parents, Fletcher Riddle and Maude Riddle; his daughter Patricia Riddle; and his grandson D. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Riddle of Mebane; and his children, Sandra Smith (E. D.) of Hillsborough, James Riddle Jr. (Barbara) of Graham and Phillip Riddle of Mebane.
