He is survived by: his children, Laura Phillips Bardill (Bill) of Belhaven, NC and Raymond Alan Phillips of Horse Pasture, VA; his granddaughter Ginny Smith (Lukas) of Albemarle; and his great grandchildren, Bailey Smith of Albemarle, Jacob Smith of Albemarle, Henry Smith of Albemarle and Matthew Smith of Albemarle.
