He was predeceased by: his father Reginald Lester Dodson; and his brothers, Gene Dodson and Lester Dodson. He is survived by: his mother Christine Huffines Dodson Oakley; his friend Jimmy; his children, Kevin Dodson (Angela), Justin Dodson and Heather Dodson; and his siblings, Shirley Smith (Dwight), Donald Dodson, Augustine Dodson, Wendy Gordon, Joyce Smith and Dorothy Wright. He is also survived by his two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
