He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Barnwell; and his parents, Anderson Hall and Kate Roney Barnwell. He is survived by: his brother Henry Dale Barnwell; and his children, Kathy Wilkins (George) of Mebane, NC and Ronnie Barnwell (Martha) of Charlotte, NC..
