She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Pulliam Bigelow and Johnnie Hazel Bigelow; and her brother Johnnie Junior Bigelow. She is survived by: her husband Joseph McCandies; and her daughters, Celeste McCandies of Greensboro, NC and Cindy Tutt (Kiwon) of Norfolk, VA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
