She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Scherie Wellington. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Lucille Utley and Preston Lyle Utley; her husband Scott Thomas Utley, II; her father Richard Bradstreet Wellington; her niece Morgan Krebs Masters; and her cousin Rhonda Courtney.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palmer's Grove United Methodist Church (1211 Palmers Grove Church Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278).
