With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Haywood William Mann Jr. of Mebane, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Haywood may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood Mann Sr. and Mary Mann; and his sister Doris Mills. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mann; his children, Tanya Dark (Eric) of Graham and Matthew Mann (Ashley) of Graham; and his grandchildren, Chris, Cooper and Hanna. He is also survived by two step granddaughters and three step great grandkids, three nephews and several cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church (333 Supper Club Rd, Mebane, NC 27302). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to AuthoraCare Hospice of Burlington in Haywood's memory.
