He was predeceased by: his parents, W. P. Doby and Nela Stanley Doby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hill Doby; his daughter Sandra Diane Doby; and his grandchildren, Michael Doby and April Moyer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
