With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda Newton Day (Mebane, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Eugene Day; and her parents, Walter Newton (Walt) and Mabel Shoffner Newton. She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Day (Holly); her pets, Oscar and Zola; her sisters, Judy Harris of Burlington, Pat Slaughter (Vic) of Burlington, Brenda Mahaley of Burlington and Sandra Arenas of Burlington; and her nephew David Mahaley (Janice). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
