He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy Newton and Betty Lou Newton; his wife Mildred Newton; his daughters, Lori Blalock and Tracy Newton (James); his grandchildren, Kendall Dean and Brittany Blalock (Scott); his siblings, Melvin Newton (Nancy) and Eunice Ferrell; his sister-in-law Doris Newton; his stepson Chris Vaughan; his stepgrandchildren, Corey, Morgan, Daniel, Eli and Hannah Vaughan; and his son Tim Dean. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
