He is survived by: his children, Edwin G. Wheland (Hillary), Joshua Wheland, Mary Ellen Wheland, Emilie Cahill (Andrew), Shawn Wheland and Matthew Wheland; his grandchildren, Kaycie, Andrew and Jackson; his sister Amy Klacik; and the mother of his children Glenda Wheland.
