He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Matthews Isaac; and his parents, Woodrow Isaac and Voy Isaac. He is survived by: his children, Woody Isaac (Libby) and Marie Pennington (Alan); his grandchildren, Wil Isaac (Julie), Scott Isaac (Amelia), Landon Lewis (Justin) and Bailey Pennington (Dave Allison); his great grandchildren, Sadie, Noah and Dawson; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Matthews (Lydia) and Elizabeth Matthews. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Mebane Building Fund or the Alzheimer's Association – Western Carolina Chapter.
